چکیده
We study the parametrization and gauge dependences in Higgs field coupled to gravity context of asymptotic safety. use exponential derive fixed points for cosmological constant, Planck mass, mass its coupling, keeping arbitrary parameters $\ensuremath{\alpha}$ $\ensuremath{\beta}$, compare results with linear split. find that beta functions potential are expressed terms redefined such apparent dependence is absent. Only trace mode fluctuations couples it tends decouple large $\ensuremath{\beta}$ limit, but anomalous dimension becomes large, invalidating local approximation. This gives limitation parametrization. There also singularities some values well away from these, we rather stable critical exponents. thus there regions give exponents against change parameters. The coupling confirmed be irrelevant reasonable choice

Gravity Coupled to Gauge Fields
Some exact static solutions for Einstein gravity in 2 + 1 dimensions coupled to abelian gauge field are discussed, where the invariant interval is of the form: ds = N(r)dt − dr − C(r)dθ. Some of these solutions are threedimensional analogs of the Schwarzschild black holes. The metrics in the regions inside and outside the horison are connected by the changing of the Planck mass sign. 1 On leave...
متن کاملScalar Gravity and Higgs Mechanism
The role of the auxiliary scalar field φ in Brans-Dicke theory is discussed. If a constant vacuum energy is assumed to be the origin of dark energy, then the corresponding density parameter would be a quantity varying with φ; and almost all of the fundamental components of our universe can be unified into the dynamical equation for φ. As a generalization of Brans-Dicke theory, we propose a new ...
متن کاملSimplicial gravity coupled to scalar matter
A model for quantized gravity coupled to matter in the form of a single scalar field is investigated in four dimensions. For the metric degrees of freedom we employ Regge’s simplicial discretization, with the scalar field defined at the vertices of the four-simplices. We examine how the continuous phase transition found earlier, separating the smooth from the rough phase of quantized gravity, i...
متن کاملGravity coupled to a scalar field in extra dimensions
In d + 1 dimensions we solve the equations of motion for the case of gravity minimally or conformally coupled to a scalar field. For the minimally coupled system the equations can either be solved directly or by transforming vacuum solutions, as shown before in 3 + 1 dimensions by Buchdahl. In d + 1 dimensions the solutions have been previously found directly by Xanthopoulos and Zannias. Here w...
